Joke Fest theme of next Senior Center meeting on March 9
Bluffton Senior Citizens Center is holding a Joke Fest as the program for their monthly meeting at noon, Monday, March 9. Bring your favorite joke to share, laugh at everyone else's jokes, and finish with a video of American humorist Jeanne Robertson.
The centre will provide shredded chicken sandwiches for the potluck meal, but bring a side dish and your own table service to share in the meal.
The center offers a wide range of activities throughout the week for senior citizens, whether you wish to play euchre or dominoes, or help sew a quilt or make a rag rug. See the newsletter (attached below) to see the weekly schedule.
The annual garage sale is still going on through Monday, March 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and everything is half price.
Another special event for this month include the 38th annual pancake and sausage breakfast on Saturday, March 21, from 8 a.m. to noon. Pre-sale tickets cost $6 or $7 at the door. Children four and under eat for free, with a paying adult.
Please note, if Bluffton schools close, then all activities at the center for that day are cancelled.
