Mayor Johnson: "We are doing everything possible to ensure your safety"
Citizens and residents of the Village of Bluffton:
As your mayor, I would like to inform you that we are doing everything we can to ensure your safety and well-being during this corona virus pandemic.
We will continue to monitor the water and sewer plants with a minimal staff required by the EPA. We have a reduced visible operation in our town hall offices.
The village is fortunate and thankful to have both fire and EMS crews who will continue to be of service at this time and in the future.
Emergency concerns related to water, sewer, streets and parks, should be directed to Bryan Lloyd at 419-358-2066, extension 107.
Dan Bowden and John Bowers will continue to operate the sewer plant on a rotating basis. The village employees will continue to monitor the water and be available for any emergency questions.
The village phone number is 419-358-2066, should you have an emergency and need assistance.
Our police department will operate on a full-time basis as normal, but if any changes to this schedule, you will be notified.
Please continue to be careful and mindful and take this crisis seriously for you and your families as well as other people in society.
When orders and suggestions are given by Gov. Mike DeWine, you must know that Bluffton adheres to his message and we want to comply to the fullest.
We are in this together and together is how me must continue forward.
Also, to those of you who believe in the power of prayer, I encourage you to be faithful in your prayers.
May you all stay safe and healthy.
Richard Johnson
Mayor, Village of Bluffton
