Betty Lou Jason was a resident of Mennonite Memorial Home
Betty Lou Jason, 80, died on Good Friday, April 10, 2020, after a prolonged illness. She was a resident of the Mennonite Memorial Nursing Home in Bluffton, Ohio.
Betty was born Jan. 11, 1940, in Cat Spring, Texas, as a 4th generation German-American. She grew up with cousins in south Texas before moving to New Albany, Indiana.
She married in 1959 and had three children. From 1970-1977 Betty lived in Mt. Cory, Ohio, serving as a pastor’s wife.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband Larry Jason of Byseville, Ohio (2004), her mother Mrs. Hilda Davis of Lakeview, Ohio (2008) and her son, Michael Eugene Brown of Lakeview, Ohio (2012). She is survived by her son John Paul Brown of Lakeview, Ohio, her daughter Dr. Sherry Dean Rovelo and son-in-law Mr. Carlos Rovelo of Dallas, Texas.
A memorial will be held later this year when the COVID-19 virus abates and Betty’s family and friends can celebrate her life together.
