Looks like Bluffton residents are filling out their census forms
As of April 26, the self-response rate (the percent of households that mailed back their form, completed the U.S. Census online, or over the phone) for Allen County was 59.8%. Of that 59.8%, most households (48.8%) responded online.
Response rates are updated weekly. The report for Allen County, and incorporated cities, villages, and townships is shown above.
Since March 12, 53.4% of households (an estimated 79 million households) across the country have responded.
An estimated 69 million households have not responded. Those households began to receive a paper copy of the Census in the mail this week.
Due to the coronavirus, the deadline for self-response has been extended to Oct. 31 (from Aug. 14).
Nonresponse follow-up (census enumerators canvassing nonrespondent households) has been delayed until August 11 and will end on October 31.
