George and Sara McCune celebrate 70th wedding anniversary
George and Sara McCune will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on June 23. They were married in the Bluffton Church of Christ in 1950.
Sara is the daughter of the late Homer and Gladys Bracy. She is retired from Family Eye Care.
George is the son of the late Hector and Geneva McCune. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and when discharged moved to Bluffton. The McCunes lived in Bluffton until they moved to Spring Lake, Pandora.
They are parents of:
Stephanie (Bill) Amstutz, parents and grandparents of:
• Jason (Nicolette) Amstutz, and children, Billie and Tullah
• Angela (Tony) Diemel, and children, Cameron, Sara Hash and Aly Diemel
• Ashley (Kevin) Weber and children, Miles, Quinley and Dean
Beverly (Gregory) Ricker, parents and grandparents of:
• Cory Matthew, deceased, July 8, 1995
• Samantha (Dan) Riley, and children Laila, Harper and Iris
• Brandy Ricker
Brian (Kathy) McCune, parents and grandparents of:
• Emily (Greg) Katzman and sons Carter and Nolan
• Abbey (Brad) Kordel
In lieu of a party, the family asks friends to send cards to celebrate the anniversary. McCune's address is: 1000 Spring Lake Drive, No. 10, Pandora, OH 45877.
