And the winners are... (Blaze floats and downtown window decorating contest)
Three floats were winners in the Blaze of Lights parade and three downtown businesses were winners in the downtown window decorating contest, sponsored by the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce.
Float winners
Float winners in the Blaze of Lights parade were:
- First: Trinity Lutheran Church, Jenera
- Second: Citizens National Bank
- Third: Mennonite Memorial Home
Float winners receive trophies.
Downtown business window winners
Winners in the downtown window decorating contest were:
- First: Citizens National Bank
- Second: Town and Country Flowers
- Third: Kim Basinger Designs (Deer Creek Shoppes window)
Window winners receive certificates. First place winner receives a $50 Luke's pizza party.
The judging for State Route 103 decorations takes place this weekend. A chamber traveling trophy will be presented to the first place winner. Businesses judged include all businesses from Colonial Surface Solutions to the Interstate.
