School board puts final touches on 2020-21 opening

Bluffton school board puts final touches on the start of the 2020-21 school year at its meeting on Monday. The agenda also includes a planned executive session to discuss employment of personnel.
Two resignation and several new classified employee hirings is on the agenda. Cheryl Morris and Leisa Stratton announced their resignations.
New classified employees to be considered include:
Amanda Hohenbrink, educational aide
Ericka McCrory, educational aide
Julie Wolfe, cafeteria
Rachel Mathewson, cafeteria
Abigail Diller, long-term sub
Mary Bash, assistant volleyball
Several board policies will be acted upon including:
Nondiscrimination
Sexual harassment
Student absence and excuses
Permanent exclusion
Hazing and bullying
Student discipline
Student suspension
Public complains about district personnel
