Bluffton grad new daytime crisis worker at Family Resource Center
Bluffton University 2013 graduate Darrelle Lloyd is the new Daytime Crisis Worker at Family Resource Center.
She received her degree from Bluffton University in 2013. She worked at Mercy Health for several years as a Behavioral Access Clinician. She received her Associate's Degree in Human Services in 2010 with an emphasis in developmental disabilities.
The Daytime Crisis Worker position was designed to respond on-site to schools and hospitals in Allen, Auglaize and Hardin Counties who have youth who are experiencing a crisis.
The response could be a direct interaction with the youth or it might involve working with the school personnel to help address a “crisis situation.” The Crisis Worker attempts to de-escalate the crisis with the youth and/or school personnel. They will also link the youth to any resources or treatment needed.
Schools and hospitals have direct access to the Crisis Worker by contacting our HOPEline at 800-567-HOPE (4673).
