Wilma Kempf worked at Millager's, MMH and L&K Restaurant
Wilma Joan Kempf, 91 of Bluffton, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020, at 6:29 a.m., Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Arlington.
Wilma was born Sept. 21, 1929, in Bluffton, to Earl and Alice (Ewing) Hamilton who preceded her in death. On she married Herbert Kempf who preceded her in death on Feb. 10, 1997.
Survivors include two sons: Larry (Connie) Kempf of Bluffton and Ronald (Lisa) Kempf of Pandora; five grandchildren: Jennifer (Joseph) Havranek, Jarod (Kari) Kempf, Jaclyn Johnson, Amanda (John) Bower and Rebecca (Matthew) Smith; nine great-grandchildren: Cayley, Blaine, Lanie, Libby, Cole, Lauren, Peighton, Skyler and Jerzey; two sisters-in-law: Mary Ellen Hamilton and Treva Clark, both of Findlay; plus several nieces and nephews.
Wilma was preceded in death by two brothers: Kenneth (JoAnn) Hamilton and Howard Hamilton.
She had worked at Millager's and Mennonite Memorial Home, both in Bluffton and the L & K Restaurant. She enjoyed working outside in her yard and putting puzzles together once she was in the nursing home.
Privates services will be held at the Bluffton Chapel of Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Katherine Beckett to officiate the service. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery following the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bluffton Food Bank.
