Jonna Lee Hartman was a 1951 Cory-Rawson HS graduate
Jonna Lee Hartman, 86 of Arlington and formerly of rural Rawson died on Monday, Nov. 2, 2020.
She was born on Dec. 28, 1933, to the late John J. and Helen A. (Emans) Beach. Jonna married Clair E. Hartman on May 26, 1957, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 28, 2008.
Surviving Jonna are her children; Janet (Don) Dukes, Joyce (Tim-deceased) Falk, Mark (Amy) Hartman, Michael Hartman and Matthew (Nikki) Hartman.
She is also survived by her grandchildren; Brandon (Abbie) Falk, Dustin (Victoria) Falk, Gabrielle Hartman, step-grandchildren; Taylor Marker, Zakkary Stiles, Allison Kline and Megan Kline.
Mrs. Hartman is also survived by her siblings; Jeanine (Cornelius-deceased) Hindall, Bonnie (Dale-deceased) Hector, Gary (Karen) Beach, Steven (Jean) Beach, sisters-in-law Connie Beach and Rachel Hartman. She was preceded in death by her brother J. Kurt Beach.
Jonna graduated from Cory-Rawson High School in 1951. She then worked as a secretary for the Hancock Diesel Service Company. She enjoyed sewing, traveling and the accounting of the family farm, Dixie Farms, Inc.
She was a lifelong member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera, where she served as a Sunday school teacher. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of service.
Pastor Matthew Nowak will officiate and burial will follow in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Jonna can be made to the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Crates Funerahl Home, Arlington.
