Oct. 1
A Cherry Street resident reported a theft of medication to police.

Oct. 6
Officers responded to the 400 block of Cherry Street in reference to an unwanted guest.

Oct. 8
Officers arrested an Alger resident for driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the area of County Line Road at County Road 33 for a speeding violation. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.

Officers received a telecommunications harassment complaint from a North Main Street resident.

Officers arrested a Columbus resident for driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the area of Interstate 75 at State Route 103. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.

Officers arrested an Ada resident for driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the area of State Route 103 near Pocono Drive. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.

Oct. 9
Officers arrested a Lima resident for driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the 300 block of South Main Street for a speeding violation. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.

Oct. 11
Officers received a criminal damaging report from a State Route 103 business.

Officers received a theft complaint of a political campaign sign from a South Main Street resident.

Oct. 13
Officers arrested a Bluffton resident on an outstanding warrant issued by the Findlay Police Department. During the arrest, officers observed the suspect to be in possession of several small baggies containing a white powdery substance. After presumptive testing, it was determined the suspect was in possession of controlled substances (namely fentanyl and methamphetamine). Felony possession of drug charges have been sent to the prosecutor’s office for review.

Oct. 16
Officers received an unwanted guest complaint from a Riley Street resident.

Officers arrested a Cairo resident on an outstanding warrant issued by the Allen County Sheriff’s Office following a traffic stop in the area of Commerce Lane near the Comfort Inn.

Oct. 17
Officers received a complaint of sexual assault at the university.

October 20
Officers responded to a noninjury traffic crash in the area of County Line Road at Jefferson Street. 

Officers responded to the West Elm Street and university areas in reference to subject(s) shooting a paintball gun at people and buildings. The case is currently under further investigation and charges will be sent to the Lima City Prosecutor’s Office for review.

Oct. 22
Officers received a criminal damage complaint from a West Elm Street residence.

Oct. 27
Officers received a fraud complaint from a resident on County Road 29.
