Doors open at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15
"D Day," or, perhaps "DD Day" begins at 8 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 15.
At 0800 hours the long-awaited Dunkin Donuts officially opens, according to Carolyn Dalton, construction manager of the new restaurant at 499 State Route 103.
She said that the shop will have many give-aways in addition to donuts, coffee and the rest of its menu.
She told the Icon that the restaurant has hired 42 employees, ranging from part-time to full-tiime.
Gerri Ziolkowski of Rawson is the store manager.
The store is the former location of Burger King Restaurant. Demolition of the Burger King began in early August and construction of the new Dunkin’ Donuts building has progressed since then.
Bluffton will join a franchise, which has restaurants in Findlay and Fostoria, according to Eirons.
