Frontline Worker Outreach Project
Bluffton Area Ministerial Association is moving ahead with a Frontline Worker Outreach Project this winter, according to Rev. Karol Farris Schilling, pastor of Bluffton Presbyterian Church.
“Due to the stress and chaos resulting from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, BAMA recognizes that many of our local frontline workers have felt overwhelmed and underappreciated,” she said, speaking for BAMA.
In this project, BAMA member congregations will send gift boxes to Bluffton organizations with an accompanying note expressing their support for the efforts of these “frontline workers.”
“At the moment, we have a list of several healthcare facilities and public services we intend to support,” she said. “Depending on the response, this list could be expanded to include additional employees and organizations.
As funding becomes available, the list of organizations BAMA plans to support will be finalized.
Persons not connected to churches in the Bluffton Area Ministerial Association may make individual donations. Checks may be made out to: Bluffton Area Ministerial Association. Checks may be mailed to BAMA at PO Box 149, Bluffton, OH 45817.
