Bluffton boys seeded 11th at sectionals; will host Tinora

BLUFFTON - The Bluffton boys basketball team was seeded 11th out of 13 teams at the Lima Senior Div. III sectional/district drawings held Sunday.
The Pirate boys (7-11) will host 13th-seeded Defiance Tinora (4-10) Wednesday, February 24 in a sectional semifinal. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
The winner will visit top-seeded Ottawa-Glandorf (13-3) Friday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. in the second round. The host Titans beat the Pirates 63-50 January 2 in a game that was closer than the final score indicates.
Bluffton actually led by seven points early and was tied with O-G 27-27 early in the third period before the homestanding Titans gradually pulled away.
The four sectional winners will advance to the Lima Senior district semifinals Thursday night, March 4. The district finals will be Saturday afternoon, March 6.
Wayne Trace was seeded second, with LCC third and Coldwater number four.
