Allison Burghaze is the April Bluffton High School student of the month.

She is active in several organizations at Bluffton HS including SADD Club, Drama Club, Spanish Club, Art Club, FCCLA and orchestra.

She was a member of the golf team as a sophomore, junior and senior. She received the textile and design award and has also received academic, choir and orchestra letters.

In her spare time she enjoys baking, sewing, reading and camping. Following graduation she will attend Mount St. Joseph University, Cincinnati, where she plans to major in special education/early childhood education.

 Allison is a senior with a 3.905 grad point average and is the daughter of Julie and Jeff McKanna of Bluffton.
