Presbyterian gazebo dedication on Saturday
The Bluffton Presbyterian Church, 112 N .Main St., will dedicate its new gazebo in anoon ceremony on Saturday, June 26.
A Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting and concert by the Dave Sycks Bluffton Brass Quintet are part of the ceremonies.
The 20-by-20-foot structure closely resembles the gazebo or band box that was built on the church lawn in the late 1890s. The new gazebo has been funded by a bequest from church members Bob and Mary Barnett.
The gazebo may be reserved for events by contacting the church office at 419-358-5806 or [email protected]. A gazebo reservation form is also on the church website at www.blufftonpc.org.
Pastor Karol Farris Schilling has also welcomed visitors to use the structure when they are in the downtown business district. The shady, covered space provides seating for impromptu lunches and visits.
