G. Louise Drury 1921-2021
G. Louise Drury, 99, of Sebring, Florida and formerly of Bluffton passed away July 23, 2021 at her residence in Sebring, Florida. Louise was born December 30, 1921 in Burnet, Texas to the late Lester and Ethel (Ruggley) Durck. On May 21, 1938 she married Jason Lyle Drury who preceded her in death on June 26, 1999.
Louise was a homemaker and also had worked at Ward's Department Store in Lima. She was a member of the Sebring Church of the Nazarene in Sebring, Florida. Louise enjoyed crocheting, knitting and painting.
Survivors include two daughters, Kaye (Larry) Dye of Sebring, Florida, Patricia Althaus of Bluffton; eight grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Louise was preceded in death by a son, Tom Drury; son-in-law, Ned Althaus; a brother, Raymond Durck and a great-granddaughter, Megan Brewster.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 30, 2021 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Bluffton. Pastor Jeff Boehr officiating. Burial will be in Auglaize Cemetery, Harrod.
