Bluffton’s Prothro named Design Your Life certified coach
BLUFFTON, Ohio— Marathana Prothro, assistant professor of communication at Bluffton University, has been named a Designing Your Life certified coach.
As an instructor for Bluffton’s Becoming a Scholar class, Prothro incorporates a design thinking pedagogical approach within the curriculum for Bluffton’s first-year students. This curriculum methodology was originally developed by Stanford University and modified for Bluffton’s use. It helps students build a framework for and a deeper understanding of their college experience.
The certification allows Prothro to use Designing Your Life principles to coach people seeking to embrace their own unique potential and design joy-filled lives either as individuals or in small-group settings. For more information on how Bluffton uses Designing Your Life with its students or to request Prothro as a resource for you, your team or an event, visit https://www.bluffton.edu/about/office-services/speakers-bureau/
