Constitution Day Forum hosted Ohio Domestic Violence Network policy director
Micaela C. Deming, staff attorney and policy director at the Ohio Domestic Violence Network, presented Bluffton University’s annual Constitution Day Forum on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021. Deming’s presentation was titled “The Constitution Versus Domestic and Sexual Violence Survivors: The Inherent Conflicts Keeping Women in Danger.”
All educational institutions that receive federal funds are required to offer an instructional program each year on or near Sept. 17, the day the U.S. Constitution was signed in 1787. Each year, the event draws a standing-room-only crowd of faculty, staff and students to Yoder Recital Hall.
