Women’s golf finishes three days in Pennsylvania
The Bluffton University women's golf team finished its Heartland Conference championship preparation at Allegheny College in Pennsylvania on Monday, Sept. 27, 2021. Bluffton spent the last three days at the beautiful Country Club of Meadville.
Freshman Allie Waggener (Hilliard/Hilliard Bradley) led the way with an 87 on Monday. She finished (178) the weekend just one tick back from junior Haley Gill (Indianapolis, Ind./Franklin Central) who went 89-88 for a 177.
Senior Marissa Hall (Avon Lake) carded a 181, while Isabelle Vance (Continental/Miller City) was two strokes off her pace with a 183 (93-90). Freshman Kiley Cline (Fostoria/Hopewell Louden) and Keely Briggs (Franklin) rounded out the Bluffton six at 184 and 199, respectively.
Bluffton will wrap up its fall slate at the Heartland Conference championships hosted by Franklin College from October 8 through October 10. The Legends Golf Club will be the site of the three-day tournament.
