Joe Zeller worked at Nutrien
Joseph Richard Zeller, 42, went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 26, 2021. Joe was born October 12, 1979 in Lima to the late Richard and Margaret (Hotz) Zeller. On October 3, 2015 he married Ashley Winegardner Zeller.
Joe was a 1998 graduate of Allen East High School and received his HVAC technician certification from UNOH in Lima. He had previously worked at Perry's Refrigeration. For the last sixteen years he worked as a crew team leader/board operator at Nutrien in Lima, a job he loved and excelled at. Joe was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Ada. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and fishing and was proud to be raising his family on the family farm.
Survivors include his wife, Ashley Zeller of Harrod; four children, Sophia Zeller, Zoe Zeller, Teddy Zeller and Noah Zeller all at home; three sisters, Amy (Alan) Myers of Bluffton, Mary Zeller of Harrod, Rebecca (Mike) Loeffler of Delaware, Ohio; his in-laws, Brooks and Lisa Winegardner of Bluffton; a brother-in-law, Isaac (Kelsey Kinn) Winegardner of Bluffton; a life-long friend who unselfishly donated a kidney to Joe, Rick (Stephanie) Miller of Harrod and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Joe was preceded in death by a twin brother, Jim Zeller.
Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services-Bluffton. Burial will be in Harrod Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.
