James Day was a scholar
James Meredith Day, age 66, passed awaay on December 21, 2021 in Brussels, Belgium. James, born and raised in Ohio, was a loving father, son, brother and husband, preceded in death by his father J. M. Day and mother Geneva Day, previously of Bluffton 1967-1971. (JM Day was a professor of music for Bluffton University and Geneva, a kindergarten and first grade teacher for Bluffton City Schools).
James is survived by his his daughter, two sons, grand daughter, wife, and sister Nancy. James Day, A.B., Ed.M., Ph.D., CTM, was a distinguished scholar, well known in Europe and the United States. A private family service was held in Brussels 12/29/21 and you may post a remembrance or comment at https://www.condoleances.be/jamesday.
