- Do you use this behavior because you have problems?
- Do you use this behavior to avoid facing stressful situations?
- Do you use this behavior when you get mad at friends or family?
- Do you often prefer to do this behavior alone, rather than with others?

- Do you ever try to stop or do less of this behavior – and fail?
- Is this behavior damaging your health or causing financial problems?
- Do you avoid being honest with others about your use of this behavior?

- While this behavior might be normal, do you ever spend too much time using this behavior?
