Track me if you can
Temperatures on Saturday, Jan. 8, froze large sections of the Little Riley Creek. And, it appears that the waste water drain at the Grove Road bridge became a shelter from the storm for at least one outdoor animal, perhaps a cat.
The inset photo on the right shows the same pipe 24 hours later, as temperatures rose, ice melted and we assume the animal high tailed it or dry ground. Meanwhile, on other sections of the stream, other wildlife made their own impressions on the snow.
Check "Track Me If You Can" at blufftonforever.com for many photos of tracks in the snow.
