Alyssa Speicher named Student of the Month
The December Student of the Month at Bluffton High school is Alyssa Speicher, daughter of Steve & Susan Speicher of Bluffton. Alyssa is in the 11th grade and has a 4.0000 cumulative gpa. (Her twin sister Lauren was the November Student of the Month.)
Alyssa is a member of the National Honor Society and Latin Club. Alyssa was awarded the "Student of the Year" in English 10.
She is currently taking a College English class through Findlay University/Bluffton High School and is undecided about what she would like to do after graduation.
A cellist in the High School Orchestra, Alyssa is also a member of the Lima Area Youth Orchestra, where she was awarded the role of Principal Cellist.
Alyssa attends St. Mary's Catholic church, is in their youth group and volunteers for PREP classes.
She is an SOS tutor and a student helper at Bluffton elementary school and teaches private cello lessons.
In her spare time Alyssa likes hiking, paddle boarding, making and trying different coffees, baking, working with house plants and playing the cello.
