Joseph "Joe" Tschuor, 72, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 1, 2022, after a brave and hard-fought battle with many illnesses. 

He was born September 22, 1949 to the late Joseph A. and Evelyn M. (Fuller) Tschuor. He married his best friend, Jennifer (Shulaw) Tschuor, on July 26, 1975. 

Joe worked at Lima Ford Engine Plant for over 20 years and was an electrician by trade. He served four years in the United States Navy, during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the IBEW local 32 and UAW Local 1219. 

After coming home from the Navy, he served a four year apprenticeship to become a Journeyman electrician, as which he proudly served a 50 year career. 

Joe loved meeting friends at classic car shows, and driving his pride and joy, a candy apple red '65 Pontiac GTO convertible. Some of his favorite memories were created when he took his solo journey along Route 66 in his GTO.

He enjoyed cracking a beer and watching his favorite football teams, The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. He also enjoyed landscaping and taking care of his garden, spending time in Myrtle Beach during the spring, antiquing, traveling, and working with his life-long union buddies, Louie Boughan and Frank Clementz. Joe liked working with his hands, and was talented at wood working. He made several grandfather clocks and a rocking horse, refinished antique cedar chests for his granddaughters, and many other items for his family. 

He will be remembered most for his generosity, words of wisdom, gregarious personality, teasing nature and his dry sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Tschuor of Bluffton, two daughters; Kelly (Michael) Saddler and Kathryn Tschuor, both of Lima, three grandchildren; Kayla Mumaw, Morgan McBeth, and Madison Saddler, sister; Jean (Michael) Sproul, his pets; Jupiter and Mars, and many loving family members and friends.

A memorial mass will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bluffton. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Bluffton. 

A private burial of the cremated remains will take place at a later date.
