Joan C. Jones was a member Ebenezer Mennonite Church
Joan C. Jones, 93, passed away March 14, 2022, at 11:45 p.m. at the Mennonite Memorial Home, of Bluffton.
Joan was born December 15, 1928 in Bluffton, to the late Harold D. and Gail C. (Dorsey) Carr. On September 12, 1947 she married Clarence "Casey" Jones who preceded her in death on February 17, 2005.
Joan was born at the Bluffton Hospital, when it was still on Main Street. She was a graduate of Mt. Cory High School and was a member of the Ebenezer Mennonite Church of Bluffton. Joan enjoyed the outdoors; she loved gardening, taking care of her yard, and enjoying wildlife. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children; Patricia (Frank) Boehm of Dunkirk, Catherine (Gary) Bayliss of Lima, Dennis (Pam) Jones of Bryan, Tim (Teresa) Jones of Findlay, 12 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren with one on the way.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Joan is preceded in death by her three siblings; Betty J. (Ray) Luginbuhl, Mary Lou (David) Yoder, and Darrell (Margaret) Carr.
Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the Ebenezer Mennonite Church. Pastors Dick Potter and Dennis Jones will officiate the service. Burial will be in Ebenezer Mennonite Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be prior to the service, from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ebenezer Mennonite General Fund.
