Dudley MacDonald worked for Lima Ford Engine Plant
Dudley MacDonald, 68, passed away April 4, 2022, at his home.
Dudley was born March 28, 1954 in Wayne County, MI, to Douglas and Joanne (Clutinger) MacDonald.
He was a graduate of Elida High School and retired from Lima Ford Engine Plant after 35 years of dedication.
He was a member of the Indian Lake Yacht Club and was an Eagle Scout. He enjoyed sailing, fishing, flying and hunting. He loved to fly RC planes, scuba dive, and spear fish. He adored all animals.
Dudley is survived by his mother, Joanne MacDonald of Harrod; three children: Heather (Zachary ) Bishop of Cincinnati, Roy (Connie) MacDonald of Cincinnati, and Joseph MacDonald of Van Wert; two grandsons, Benjamin and Charles Bishop of Cincinnati; six siblings: Rosalie MacDonald of Lima, Carol (Steve) Starkey of Lima, Janie (Clyde) Wireman of Bluffton, Stanley (Terri) MacDonald of Springfield, Darlene (Jerry) Yarnetsky of Oxford, OH, Sharon (Dick) Sidders of Bellefontaine; and his two beloved dogs: Katie and Lady.
Dudley was preceded in death by his father: Douglas MacDonald.
Services will be held April 9, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Bluffton. Pastor Jim King to officiate the service. Burial will follow the service at Thompson Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, April 9, 2022, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ohio Wildlife or the SPCA.
