Sophia Bricker named March BHS Student of the Month
The March student of the month at Bluffton High School is Sophia Bricker, daughter of Sarah & Tyler Bricker of Bluffton. Bricker is a senior with a 4.0 GPA.
Bricker keeps busy by being involved in many activities including Art Club, National Honor Society, Campus Life, Youth Group at Bluffton First United Methodist Church and is a student aide in Mrs. Boblitt's room at the Bluffton Middle School.
Bricker plays on the volleyball and softball teams and received the 110% award in softball last year as well as honorable mention by the NWC. She was awarded student of the year in World History as a freshman and last year received this honor in Photography.
Bricker works at Bluffton Veterinary Hospital & Pet Care Center and last year worked at Bluffton Dari Freeze. In her spare time, she enjoys making iced coffee and watching sunsets and the sunrise.
She is currently taking CCP courses through Findlay University (College Writing), Bluffton University (Calculus), and Rhodes State University (Personal Finance, Statistics, and Psychology). After graduation she plans to attend Bowling Green State University and major in Integrated Mathematics Education.
