May 1 confirmation service at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church
Five youth will be confirmed in the Christian faith on Sunday, May 1, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera.
To be confirmed in the 10:30 a.m. service are Emma Grace Beach , Emerson Jade Gurney, Izzabella Elizabeth Kretz, Abigail Kathryn Miles and Trenton Alexander Siefker. The class Bible Verse is John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you, I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” The class hymn, is “ On Eagles' Wings.” Class colors are orange and yellow and the class flower is the tulip The Choir will sing “Train Up A Child.”.
A regular service will be held at 8:00 a.m. Beginning at 9:20, the Confirmands will give a review of Bible teachings in a question and answer format. All are welcome to attend and the church is handicapped accessible.
The Confirmation service will be live streamed and all services are archived at www.tlcjenera.org
