Bluffton softball to face LCC in sectionals

The Bluffton High School girls varsity softball team was seeded fourth at the Elida district Div. IV sectional drawing Sunday.
The Lady Pirates (8-7) will host ninth seed Lima Central Catholic Monday, May 9. Bluffton nipped LCC 3-2 at home on April 7.
The victor advances to the sectional second round May 12 against the winner between fifth seed Coumbus Grove and 13th seed Hardin Northern.
The game will be held at the highest seeded team of the four sectional semifinalists.
Wayne Trace was seeded first out of 13 teams. North Baltimore was tabbed second, with Leipsic third.
The district semifinals and finals will be at Elida May 17/20.
