Youth orchestra finale and audition information
The Lima Area Youth Orchestra held its 2021-2022 season finale on Sunday, May 15. The program was led by LAYO Music Director Sarah Waters and Co-Conductor Joseph MacBenn.
Bluffton students participating in the program are:
Violins: Adanna Johnstone, Liliana Liberato,
Cello: Alyssa Speicher
Bass: Lauren Speicher
Clarinet: Alyssa Hoffman
Flute: Lauren Bowers
Percussion: Eli Okuley, Micah Fultz
New to the LAYO program is the Cadet Program which is open without audition to students with only one or two years of string experience. Members of LAYO are students from the Lima area that are selected through audition. In person auditions for next year will be held June 11 and the orchestra is also accepting virtual auditions.
