EMS building to serve as cooling station
UPDATE: With AEP Ohio crews working on multiple downed towers in the Bluffton area, service began to be restored to the area on the afternoon and evening of June 14.
Beginning 10:00 a.m. on June 14, a cooling station has been established at the EMS building behind the fire department on N. Main St. at Thurman.
Town Hall phone lines, including Police Department, are down. In an emergency call 911.
For non-emergency matters call the Allen County Sheriff's Office non-emergency line at 419-227-3535.
Town Hall does have power for charging but no AC. HVAC system at town hall has stopped working.
An additional cooling station is available at Ebenezer Mennonite Church, 8905 Columbus Grove Rd. The church will be open until 10 p.m. for those who need a place to cool off. You can bring a meal and eat there. Water and snacks are being provided.
