Trinity Lutheran School installs new teachers; enrollment open for fall
Enrollment open for Fall 2022
Trinity Lutheran School, 105 Allen Street, Jenera, has three new teachers who were installed in the church service on Sunday, July 10.
Mr. Jeffrey Falck was installed as the new Principal of the school and Staff Minister at the church. Mr. Falck was born in Tomah, Wisconsin. He completed high school at Martin Luther Prep as part of its final graduating class. After graduating Martin Luther College, New Ulm, Minnesota, in December, 1999, he was assigned to Good Shepherd Lutheran School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Jeff married his wife, Karena, in 2000. They have served as teachers in Wisconsin, Colorado, and Illinois. Mr. Falck completed his Master's in Education Leadership in 2014. He enjoys playing organ, traveling throughout the country (48 states down-2 to go!), and visiting historical sites.
Mrs. Karena Falck will teach Grades 1-2 at Trinity. She grew up in Lansing, Michigan, attended Emanuel Lutheran Grade School and is a 1995 graduate of Michigan Lutheran Seminary (high school), Saginaw, Michigan. She and Jeff met at Martin Luther College where she graduated in 2000. The Falcks have four children.
Mrs. Heather Kretz will teach Grades 3-5. Heather was born in Jackson, Wisconsin where she attended David's Star Lutheran Grade School. She graduated Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School and later from Martin Luther College in 2000. She married Richard Kretz Jr. and received her first call to teach at Zion Lutheran School, Toledo, Ohio. The family moved to Findlay in 2007 and now includes four children. Mrs. Kretz has been a remedial teacher and teacher's aide at Trinity.
Continuing teachers are: Mrs. Jessica Krueger, Preschool; Mrs. Connie Krueger, Kindergarten; and Mr. Josh vonStein, Grades 6-8.
Enrollment is now open at Trinity. There is a low student/teacher ratio and, as well as academics, music, art and sports are offered. Bus service is available within a ten mile radius of the school with a pick-up at Immanuel Lutheran Church, North Ridge Road, Findlay. Before and after school childcare is also available. Please call 419-326-4685 or see the website tlcjenera.org for more information.
