Pro Football Hall of Fame joins Ada football festival lineup
Word is getting out about the August 27 Made in Ada Wilson Football Festival. Recently the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce was contacted by the Pro Football Hall of Fame, which is based in Canton, Ohio.
"We are extremely excited to announce that the Pro Football Hall of Fame (YES, the actual HOF) will be coming to our Made in Ada Wilson Football Festival! They will be bringing their mobile unit along with other interactive activities. We can’t thank them enough for reaching out to US!" announced Lindsay Walden, the chamber director.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame works with the National Football League, the 32 NFL clubs and other entities to provide a historical showplace and repository for the sport of professional football. The facility in Canton achieved accreditation by the American Alliance of Museums (AAM), the highest national recognition afforded the nation’s museums, in 2017, becoming the first major sports museum to be accredited.
The 2022 Enshrinement Week of new hall of famers will be August 4-7. To learn more about the Pro Football Hall of Fame, visit www.profootballhof.com
The Hall of Fame is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational institution guided by its Mission to “Honor the Heroes of the Game, Preserve its History, Promote its Values and Celebrate Excellence Together.”
