David Yoder, MD, joins Bluffton Primary Care
Blanchard Valley Health System has announced that David Yoder, MD, a family medicine physician, has joined Bluffton Primary Care, 161 Garau Street.
Dr. Yoder is a 2011 graduate of Bluffton High School and is the son of Mark and Julie Yoder of Bluffton. He earned a bachelor of science degree in biology at Cedarville University (Cedarville, Ohio). He received his medical degree at Wright State University, Boonshoft School of Medicine (Dayton, Ohio).
Dr. Yoder completed his family medicine residency at the Indiana University Ball Memorial Family Residency program (Muncie, Indiana), where he served as lead resident. Additionally, Dr. Yoder is a member of the American Medical Association and American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Yoder told the Icon that he was inspired by watching his father and grandfather Alan Yoder in their optometry practice–Family Eye Care Clinic of Bluffton–and noticed how much they enjoyed their work. He also mentions Scott Hoff’s anatomy class at Bluffton High School as a starting point for his interest in medicine. It has been his aim to work as a family doctor who can get to know his patients.
Dr. Yoder is welcoming new patients at Bluffton Primary Care. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 419-369-2280.
