Bluffton boys tied by Beavers

The Bluffton High School boys soccer squad tied visiting Beavercreek 1-1 Wednesday evening, September 7.
The Pirate record moved to 1-4-1 with the non-league tie.
Alek Davis scored first for Bluffton at the 29:08 mark of the first half. It was the only shot the Pirates were able to get off the entire match, and he made it count.
Beavercreek netted the equalizer with just 4:48 remaining to play.
Pirate keeper Kyle Basil made seven stops in goal. Beavercreek got 12 shots off.
Bluffton hosts Spencerville (2-0-1, 1-0 NWC) in the resumption of an NWC match Saturday, September 10 at 1:45 p.m. The Pirates led 1-0 when it was stopped by weather August 29.
