BHS boys soccer edges previously unbeaten Kenton
Hoffman scores two in home victory

The Bluffton High School boys soccer squad scored late to defeat visiting rival Kenton 2-1 in a non-conference match Thursday evening, September 15.
The Pirates improved to 4-4-1 with their third consecutive victory. The Wildcats fell to 6-1-1 as the Pirates handed them their first loss.
Nolan Hoffman netted the first goal at the 31:01 mark to give the Pirates the lead heading to halftime. Bluffton tied it 1-1 on a penalty kick 7:09 into the second half. Hoffman then netted the winner at the 75:41 juncture.
Bluffton put seven of its eight shots on goal.
Kyle Basil came up with seven saves in goal. Fisher stopped six Pirate shots.
Kenton got off 16 shots, nine of which were on goal. Wildcat keeper Coulson made four stops.
Bluffton (1-0 NWC) plays at backyard league rival Allen East (2-4-1, 0-2 NWC) Monday, Sept. 19.
