Bluffton U volleyball Granville recap

GRANVILLE, Ohio - The Bluffton University volleyball team wrapped up non-conference play on Wednesday, Sept. 28, with a 3-0 loss to Denison. The Beavers slipped to 12-5 while the Big Red improved to 6-8.
Kaylie Campbell (Camden/Preble Shawnee) led the Bluffton offense with five winners. Julianne Kincaid (Galion/Northmor), Chloei Barnett (Wapakoneta) and Jenna Woods (DeGraff/Riverside) all added four putaways in the Wednesday setback.
Maddie White (Ashland) dished out 12 assists while also picking up seven digs and firing one ace. Elle Price (Pocono Pines, PA/Findlay) and Gabby Williams (West Liberty/West Liberty-Salem) tallied four helpers apiece. Emma Organ (Lambertville, MI/St. Ursula Academy) powered the defense with 11 pickups and she fired an ace.
The Beavers are back in action on Saturday, Oct. 1, when they travel to Transylvania University for the Heartland Conference lidlifter. First serve is slated for 2 p.m.
