Bluffton vs. Franklin women's soccer recap
FRANKLIN, Ind. - The Bluffton University women's soccer team scored early in the second half en route to a 1-0 shutout at Franklin on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022.
Bluffton moved to 2-6-1 overall and 1-1 in the Heartland Conference with its first win over Franklin since 2013!
Senior Emma White (St. Marys/Memorial) snapped the scoreless tie in minute 55 when she buried the game winner from Brittney Ramirez (Archbold) for a 1-0 lead. Brielle Collier (Anna) made that lone tally hold up as she improved to 2-6-1 on the season.
Bluffton forced two more corner kicks (4-2) than the Grizzlies and Franklin was whistled for one more foul (9-8). White's score marked her second career goal.
The Beavers will be back on the road Wednesday night when they travel to Mount St. Joseph for a 7 p.m. kickoff in Cincinnati.
