DEFIANCE, Ohio - The Bluffton University men's golf team fired a 319 on Sunday at Eagle Rock Golf Club on a beautiful Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022. Coupled with a solid 314 on Saturday, the Beavers took 2nd place out of six teams at rival Defiance College.

Senior Dominic Castelvetere (Ontario) finished in a tie for 4th place overall thanks to a 77 on Saturday and 78 on Sunday (155). Sophomores Hunter Jolliff (Elida) and Brayden Tosi (Springfield/Kenton Ridge) both finished the weekend with identical scores of 158 for the weekend. Just off their pace were seniors Evan Kujawa (Toledo/Whitmer) and Clay Quellhorst (St. Marys/Memorial), putting up 160's at Eagle Rock.

Justin Metsker (Burbank/Wickliffe) and Nick Offenburger (Lexington) rounded out Bluffton's seven with scores of 170 and 178, respectively.

Bluffton will have next weekend off before wrapping up its fall slate at the Beaver Fall Classic on Saturday, Oct. 15 and Sunday, Oct. 16.
