Kiley Cline is Heartland Conference Player of the Week
For the second straight week a Bluffton University women's golfer has been named the Heartland Conference Player of the Week. One tournament that stretched across two weeks of HCAC voting saw the Beavers honored on consecutive Tuesdays.
Sophomore Kiley Cline (Fostoria/Hopewell Louden) fired a 77 on Monday, Sept. 26, at the Country Club of Meadville. It was just two strokes off the school mark of 75. Kline's 163 at the Guy and Jeanie Kuhn Memorial also bested her former school record of 164 set earlier this year.
Cline follows in the footsteps of fellow sophomore Allie Waggener (Hilliard/Hilliard Bradley) who was named HCAC Player of the Week after shooting a 79 on day one at Allegheny College last weekend.
The Bluffton women will tee it up next at Moose Landing Golf Course in the suburbs of Kalida on Saturday, Oct. 8, when Defiance hosts the HCAC Preview.
