Chris W. Faine was a corporate attorney
COLUMBUS--Chris W. Faine, 67, of Columbus and formerly of Mt. Cory passed away October 25, 2022 at the Whetstone Rehabilitation Center in Columbus.
Chris was born December 11, 1954 in Bluffton to the late John and Dora Deane (Wells) Faine. On July 22, 2004 he married Patricia Hall Faine and she survives.
Chris graduated from Cory-Rawson High School and later the Ohio State University and received his juris doctorate with honors from the University of Toledo. He retired as a corporate attorney working for Marathon, Roadway Express and Chemical Abstract in Columbus. Chris was a member of Bethel International United Methodist Church, Columbus. Chris was a very giving and generous person who was loved by many and was always a great listener. He loved genealogy, antiques, garage sales, going to the beach, water-skiing, boating and watching the Ohio State Buckeyes. Most of all, Chris enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Faine of Columbus; a daughter, Katelyn Faine of Columbus; a brother, Joe (Brenda) Faine of Findlay; two sisters-in-laws, Jodi Faine of Bluffton, Tina Faine of McKinney, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Chris was preceded in death by two brothers, William "Bill” Faine and Michael Faine.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Private burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
