Kevin F. Snavely worked for Philips
PANDORA–Kevin F. Snavely, 78, passed away December 21, 2022, at his residence.
Kevin was born August 24, 1944 in McComb, to Floyd and Joyce (Sharninghouse) Snavely who preceded him in death. On July 24, 1970 he married Lynda (Norbeck) Snavely who survives.
Kevin was a graduate of Pandora-Gilboa High School and retired from Philips as a machine repairman after 34 years of dedication. He also started Custom Metal Fabrication out of his home, as a welder. Kevin loved watching racing, pedal tractors, restoring cars, and all things motorcycles. He was a collector of many things and always had a joke. He and his wife loved to travel throughout the United States, and he especially loved Alaska.
He is survived by his wife, Lynda Snavely of Pandora; daughters, Kim (Nathan) Neuenschwander of Pandora, Kris (Dan) Overholser of Cincinnati, and Keri (Brian) Barhorst of Pandora; seven grandchildren, Luke (Hannah Goodwin) Neuenschwander, Lexie Neuenschwander, Zach Neuenschwander, Evan and Dean Overholser, and Grayson and Emmy Barhorst.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a grandchild, Owen Barhorst; and his siblings, Reva Phillips and Merlin Snavely.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, January 29, 2023 from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at the Arthur-Lugibihl Community Center in Pandora where a meal will be provided. A private burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the West Ohio Food Bank or the City Mission of Findlay.
