BHS girls basketball loses to undefeated Bath

LIMA–The visiting Bluffton High School girls basketball team lost 41-29 at undefeated Bath in a non-conference contest Thursday night, December 29.
The Pirates dropped to 7-3 with the road defeat. Bath improved to 10-0 with the victory.
Sami Scoles helped lead the Pirates with nine points and three rebounds. Riley Eachus also scored nine markers and snared four caroms.
Sophomore post Ayla Grandey added six points and seven boards.
Bath's Claire Foust topped all players with 12 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Anne Oliver contributed 11 markers, seven rebounds and four assists.
Wildcat Elena Oliver compiled nine points, eight boards and two blocked shots. Faith Clark added five points for the winners.
Bluffton (1-3 road, 1-1 NWC) resumes league play Thursday, January 5 at Crestview (6-3, 2-1 NWC).
The Pirates then host struggling former NWC foe Paulding (1-7) Saturday, Jan. 7.
