Robert "Bob" W. Watkins worked for Whirlpool

Robert "Bob" W. Watkins, 80, passed away December 29, 2022, at Blanchard Valley Hospital.
Robert was born August 11, 1942 in Mount Cory, to Wayne and Hazel (Salsbury) Watkins who preceded him in death. On January 4, 1964 he married Sandra (Green) Watkins who preceded him in death on May 3, 2006.
Robert was a 1960 graduate of Cory-Rawson High School and retired from Whirlpool. He enjoyed hunting and cheering for the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes.
He is survived by his two children, Becky Watkins of Mount Cory and Mike (Stephanie) Watkins of Mount Cory; two grandchildren, Jessica Watkins of Mt. Cory and Mason Watkins of Lansing, MI; four great-grandchildren, Adrianna Moser, K.C. Moser Jr., Raya Hall, and Liam Watkins; a sister, Phyllis Crouthers of Tuscon, AZ; and many other family and friends who Robert loved and was close to.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
A graveside service will be in Clymer Cemetery, January 4, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Noggle to officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
