PGHS boys basketball: 68-26 win vs. Cory-Rawson

The Pandora-Gilboa High School boys basketball team hosted Blanchard Valley Conference rival Cory-Rawson Friday night, January 27. P-G jumped ahead early and held the Hornets to single digit scoring in each quarter, as the Rockets soared to an easy 68-26 win.
After one quarter of action the Rockets led 15-4 as Aidan Harris pumped in eight of his game high 19 points. From there, P-G took a commanding 34-8 halftime advantage and extended the lead to 54-18 after three quarters. A running clock was instituted the rest of the way as both teams emptied their benches.
Nate Maag followed up Harris with 14 points off the bench for the Rockets, as Derek Maag and Colin Harris each scored 7 points. Zach Neuenschwander tallied 5 points while Aiden Morris and Jake Maag scored 4 points a-piece. Nate Walker scored a late 3 points and Owen Huffman hit one shot from the floor for his 2 points.
With the win, the Rockets (12-3, 6-1 BVC) remain tied for second in the BVC standings. P-G will host Bluffton tomorrow night in a non-league battle.
