Delaney Ann Miller was a Registered Nurse
Delaney Ann Miller was born on November 15, 1984, in Bluffton to Mark D. and Cheryl "Sherry" Ann Miller. She graduated from Bluffton High School and Owens Community College, Toledo. The Lord called her home the morning of February 16, 2023.
Delaney was a Registered Nurse employed at Van Wert Hospital and previously at St. Rita's Medical Center and Blanchard Valley Hospital. She was passionate about quality care for her patients. She was highly skilled in the area of Cardiac Critical Care.
Delaney was a determined, brilliant woman. She graduated from high school early at the age of 16 and as an RN at age 20. She was known for her stunning good looks, green eyes and fiery personality. She loved live music and being at the beach.
She is survived by her life partner Jeff Fleece of Bluffton; her children, Mason Davis and Karleigh Davis (Andrew Davis) of Columbus Grove; Jeff's children, Madison Fleece and Ashley Fleece of Bluffton; her parents, Mark and Sherry Miller of Bluffton; Jesse L. Miller of Columbus Grove; a nephew, Ashton Miller; aunt Marsha (Robert) Burger of Durham, NC, aunt Kathy Hubbard of Lima, aunt Katherine (Arthur) Salgado of Albuquerque, NM, Valerie Conrad of Lima, and aunt Debby Hubbard of Sheboygan, WI. Also, Conrad (Shirley) Buchanan of Clyde, TX and Blayne Buchanan of Clyde, TX. Cousins, Brent Burger, Angela Hubbard, Andrew Hubbard, Christopher Hubbard, Eric Salgado, Daniel Salgado, and Julie Laut, along with many friends who were dear to her.
Delaney was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Arthur G. and Gloria Ann Miller of Columbus Grove; maternal grandparents, Elizabeth Betsy Mann Buchanan of Albuqueque, NM, and Hilary D. Buchanan of Clarksdale, AZ; uncles Michael J. Hubbard of Sheboygan, WI, and David Hubbard of Lima.
Services will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation-Bluffton Chapel with Pastor Wade Melton to officiate the service. Visitation will be Monday, February 20, 2023, 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, February 21, 2023, 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Her cremated remains will be interred at Pleasant View Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorial contributions may be made to Delaney's children's education fund or to the Ronald McDonald House in her name.
