Jane Lee (Kinn) Bell was a Bluffton dispatcher
FINDLAY–Jane Lee (Kinn) Bell, 64, Findlay, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2023, at her home.
Jane, known as “Janie” by her family, was born on June 2, 1958, at Fostoria Hospital to the late James and Mary (Holman) Kinn, Sr. She married Brent Edward Bell on May 4, 1979, and he survives.
Janie graduated from Bluffton High School, Class of 1976. She had various jobs after graduating, such as a dispatcher for the Bluffton Police/Fire/EMS, a security guard for Bell Security Service and she cleaned homes and businesses for many years. Connecting with people was a large part of Janie’s life; she had many friends she kept in touch with throughout the years on Facebook. She loved to post memes and jokes and could always turn a frown into a smile; she never left anything unsaid. Janie enjoyed living in the woods with Brent, watching NFL games (especially Tom Brady), but most of all, she adored spending time with her children and grandchildren. Janie will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Janie is survived by her husband; Brent Bell of Findlay; a son, Bob Bell of Findlay; a daughter Lori (Daniel) Gosser of Findlay; three grandchildren: Eve, Joy and Leo Gosser of Findlay. She is also survived by siblings Lawrence (Barb) Kinn, Leonard (Linda) Kinn, James (Sue) Kinn Jr., and Kathy (Randy) Housh, all of Bluffton as well as many nephews and nieces.
In addition to her parents, Janie was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Kinn and two grandchildren, James and Merryn Gosser.
A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 6, 2023 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bluffton with Father John Stites officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00-6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to the Wyandot County Humane Society.
