David Carl Reddick was a software programmer and musician
David Carl Reddick, age 69, of rural Jenera, died peacefully at 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at his residence with his wife at his side. He was born on May 10, 1953, in Bluffton, Ohio to the late Carl and Arlene (Schaller) Reddick. On July 20, 1974, he married Mary Lou Fisher and she survives.
Also surviving are his 3 daughters: Amanda (Joshua) von Stein of Jenera, Allison Reddick of Delaware, Ohio and Anna Reddick of Delaware, Ohio; 3 granddaughters: Annika, Elowyn and Inara von Stein; brother, Dan (Tammy Chiow) Reddick of rural Findlay and sister, Julie Reddick of Ft. Myers, Florida.
Dave was a 1971 graduate of Arlington High School and a 1981 graduate of Rhodes State College. He was a retired software programmer and was an accomplished musician having played in multiple bands over the years from the age of 14. He was a life-long member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jenera and loved to sail. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 24, 2023 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jenera and his funeral service will be at the conclusion of the visitation at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Matthew Novak will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery. Crates Funeral Home in Arlington is handling the arrangements for the family. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran School and online condolences are welcomed at www.coldrencrates.com/
